SEWS-E
History

Our SEWS-E Headquarters based in Silverdale, Newcastle-under-Lyme, UK is perfectly placed – close to our UK based customers and within one hours drive of four international airports – putting us in easy reach of customers and our own design, manufacturing and logistics operations. Headquarters is home to our Senior Management Team along with our central Finance, Human Resources, Logistics, IT and Purchasing functions.

The Silverdale Headquarters was established in 1999, shortly after Sumitomo Wiring Systems acquired Lucas SEI Wiring Systems Ltd. The Lucas SEI joint venture was previously located nearby in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
